Rescued September 2025
Whiskey
Whiskey landed at Macon County Animal Services as a stray in September 2025. Whiskey, an older dog, was not adapting well to the environment at the shelter. He was already skin & bones, and had some challenges, but his spirit was fully intact. With a good veterinarian's touch, and some great people at the shelter and in the rescue community looking out for him, Whiskey found his way to his forever home on the Cherub Ranch.
Whiskey has put on some healthy weight, made 7 new doggie friends, and claimed a whole couch as his own at the Ranch. You can come see how awesome Whiskey is doing at the Cherub Ranch Thrift store on Fridays and Saturdays from 9am-4pm. He is a great store supervisor and takes his job very seriously, especially nap time.
